Benefits of Wood Decking

Low Maintenance

When installed properly and sealed, wood decks can be surprisingly low-maintenance. Routine cleaning and occasional staining are all it takes to keep your deck looking great year after year.

Durability

Wood—especially hardwoods like IPE—offers long-lasting strength and resilience. Properly treated and maintained wood decks resist decay, pests, and weathering, standing the test of time even in harsh climates.

Beauty

Nothing matches the rich, natural aesthetics of real wood. From the warm tones of cedar to the deep grains of tropical hardwoods, wood decking offers unmatched visual warmth and character.

Sustainability

We offer responsibly sourced wood options, including FSC-certified lumber, ensuring your deck is not only beautiful but also environmentally friendly. Wood is a renewable resource that supports sustainable outdoor living.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience with Decked Out. They tore down our old 2nd story deck and built a new deck with composite decking and aluminum railing. Great communication and execution all the way through. The crew was great also.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Decked Out Construction is an excellent group of professionals that exceeded my expectations on a recent deck replacement. I first became aware of their firm from visiting a friends home that had just finished a 2nd level deck. The homeowner was thrilled with the quality of the final project but also remarked at how easy their entire staff was to work with. Having been in commercial construction for over 30 years, I was so impressed I callled them the next day to discuss my deck project. Christoph and Cooper, the principals, are low key but very responsive to any questions I had during the entire process. Their site craftsmen, including Dan and Dennis, were also very helpful and went out of their way to find creative ideas during the construction. All of their staff took the time to listen to my initial thoughts, explaining options, and developing a design and contruction plan that provided excellent solutions and a great result. I would have no hesitation in giving them my highest recommendation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are SO pleased and impressed with Decked Out Construction! From the beginning, we communicated directly with the owners (unlike other companies who sent sales reps). Clear communication, excellent craftsmanship and commitment to quality were evident throughout the process. The guys were a pleasure to have around and kept the worksite clean. The end result is perfect and has us READY for nice weather!
